I am excited to announce I will be racing for Velo Performance Race Team. The team is based in Portugal. Last year the team had a successful year racing especially as it was their first year competing. I am looking forward to growing with the team and working with everyone for another successful year.
I first met the team in February for our team camp, based in the Algarve, Portugal. My first trip to this beautiful country. We spend many hour in the saddle, through the small windy roads of the Algarve. Staying right on the coast, looking out over the sea. The roads are quiet, perfect for cycling and the temperature for February was great sitting around 20 degrees. A slight improvement on the snow/sleet and rain at home.
Spending the week with my new team gave us all the opportunity to get to know each other, and begin to see how we knit together as a team. To find out more about Velo Performance and what they do click here.
