Out of the 5 rounds of the Matrix Women’s Tour Series I road 3. Starting with the first round in Redditch. Having ridden this circuit previously I knew the route and what to expect from the race. With multiple crashes on the first couple of laps I settled into the second group. Finishing 26th.
The second round in Motherwell, a new circuit with a slight drag up to the finish. Finishing in the second group once again in 29th.
The last round I rode was the 4th round in Peterborough. Having also raced this circuit before and it being a flat fast route with flowing corners I was expecting to take my usual position at the front of the second group. However after a quick start and a wide straight at the back of the circuit I managed to move up to the front group. It was nice to be at the front of the race. After a good race I finished 18th.
Overall pleased with my performances at the tour series, happy to have improved on last year and got round the series with no misshapes!
