Welcome, I’m Amy, I am the owner of Ochil Green Studio in Glenfarg. I am a qualified Massage Therapist, Fitness and Pilates instructor.  In my spare time you will find me on the road racing as a competitive road cyclist for Finish Line Racing.

I was led into my current field of work through my cycling, racing on the road and being brought up in a sporting environment I have always had a keen interest in health and wellbeing. I completed my Sports Massage training in 2017, I later went on to complete my fitness instructor course and most recently Pilates. As I continue to expand my modalities and knowledge, both in manual therapy and exercises I am continually excited by how many different directions I can take to help people. One of my favourite ways to work and to look at the body is through the fascia – an amazing structure of connective tissue that can affect movement and manipulate the body’s structures. Fascial release is definitely a modality I believe everyone can benefit from.

My cycling has, and continues, to take me too many beautiful places, enabling me to experience so much and learn from so many people. I currently race for Pro-Notics Redchilli Bikes Heidi Kjeldsen. It is a fantastic supportive environment to develop as a rider. I hope to help people with my experiences, to keep them moving and to become aware of how their body can work for them. The body is an interesting and complex system – there is always more to learn.

When I’m not on my bike you can often find me in the press area at races. I work for cycling media website CyclingShorts.cc where I write, report and interview as part of their team.

For more information on my work see Ochil Green Studio. To see my life on the bike please see the cycling section.
